Interior Design & Consultation
01. Discovery Call
We begin with a complimentary up-to-20-minute Discovery Call to learn more about your project, goals, timeline, and overall design needs. This call helps determine whether Wild Lavender Interiors is the right fit for you.
02. Design Consultation
The next step is a paid design consultation. This is a focused 60–120-minute session where we discuss your space in more detail, identify priorities, explore design direction, and outline recommended next steps.
03. Design Proposal
Following the consultation, a custom proposal is prepared based on the scope of work, recommendations, level of design support needed, timeline, and overall project complexity. If everything looks good, we move forward with the Interior Design Scope and Service Agreement and the Project Initiation Fee.
04. Interior Design Scope and Service Agreement + Project Initiation Fee
The contract outlines the specifics of the deliverables, approximate hours, estimated investment, and timeline, if applicable. The Project Initiation Fee is due upon signing the contract.
05. Working Retainer
A Working Retainer is collected before design work begins and is applied toward services performed throughout the project. As the retainer is drawn down, it may require replenishment once it reaches the minimum balance established in your Service Agreement to ensure work continues without interruption.
06. Residential Design Development
Following your approval, your design is thoughtfully developed through space planning, material and finish selections, and the preparation of project documentation. Depending on your project’s scope, this may include cabinetry drawings, lighting plans, electrical plans, tile layouts, elevations, and other construction documents necessary to bring the design to life.
07. Procurement & Project Support – (if applicable)
Depending on your project’s scope, assistance may include ordering materials, reviewing product specifications, coordinating with vendors, responding to contractor questions, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and helping ensure the design intent is carried through during construction.
08. Project Completion
As construction and installation conclude, the completed spaces are reviewed, final details are addressed, and your home is ready to enjoy.
